My granddaughter graduated 5th grade today. Grades (6,7,8) are now middle school which we used to call junior high
The ceremony started with the students reciting the pledge of allegiance and moved on to them singing the Star Spangled banner.
There was talk about today being flag day and how the students should be proud of America and their accomplishments.
I was blown away and encouraged at the same time! All is not lost.

😂🤣😂 So true, my children's (they are 9 and 10) generation is amazing. They truly don’t see color or creed. They see the human race as all the same and that is a better world! Can’t wait till they get in charge!
