My name is Bill. I am paraplygic for 11 years now after being ran over by a drunk driver. I would like to experience fishing Clear Lake from the shoreline. I saw some very inviting spots in Lucerne but I don't know what the fishing is like there. If anyone knows of good fishing areas around the lake that are wheelchair accessible please let me know.

Mike, it is Clear Lake CA, off of highway 53 lower lake. Lisa has two travel trailers that rent for $100 a night, one of those is veterans sponsored and a vet can get a night free of charge I believe.

Nice decks to fish from with shady areas
Bass, And Catfishing

I live on the east coast but Bro and Sis in law live on Cobb Mtn. and gave us a tour of Clear Lake both upper and lower. Some of the most beautiful country in the world. Mike

Here on the James river catfish go in the 60 to 70 lbs and even heavier. Not trying to brag because a river as large as the James is totally different than a lake. I personally don't fish for catfish but will keep and eat them. I fish more saltwater and when fishing fresh I tend towards panfish. Mike

Always amazed at some folks resolve to get out and do some fishing! See many disabled folks on overnight deep sea trips trying their best to put some fish in the box! Even give a fish or two for one fellow that did not do so well. Everyone seemed to help out, even when not wanted, let em fish too! Watching on TV is just not the same, gotta get out too!
