I have a stingray auger 33 cc . See thru gas tank. I bought it about 5 yrs ago. The
Rubber grommet at the tank was leaking. I ordered a new one. So I had time to think about a remedy. I found some rubber O rings at Home Depot. I took out the grommet and slipped the O ring over it. Put the grommet back So the ring is toward the outside of the tank . No more leak. I will see how long it lasts. And I will have a new grommet for spare.

There are o-rings that are made to be gasoline resistant. Grainger sells them.

Pretty often, it's not hard to out-engineer the engineers!

Ok thanks . I was buying the premixed. Some how the grommet expanded outward and wasn’t tight anymore. I left the tank empty all summer.

seafoam is a great fuel additive esp in cold conditions and is a stabilizer.
