I haven’t fished there since I was stationed in Tucson back in the early 80s
I was really impressed with the numbers and size of crappie there.
I caught bass but nothing to write home about.

Haven't fished Saguaro much so
can't really speak from experience,
but I know that Bartlett, Saguaro and Canyon lakes all hold decent-sized bass and have pretty decent crappie fishing, as well ! I usually recommend that folks check with the Az. Game
& Fish website (azgfd.com) and/or
the All About Fishing website
(aafishing.com) for local
information/ fishing reports !

If you're new(er) to the area, PM me and I'll give you some info that may interest you about fishing close(r) to home !

Thanks for the info! I’m a big crappie and walleye guy, thinking I might just go for em the way we do everywhere else.. deeper water now is my guess

In the Valley, the Salt River chain of lakes (Roosevelt/Apache/Canyon/ Saguaro) hold some walleye, with Saguaro being your best bet,
followed closely by Canyon !

Further north (and east), there is Upper Lake Mary, Show Low Lake
and Fool Hollow Lake ! Pretty much sums up the best walleye waters in the state !
