At home c***d tests

There was a recent comment on the stage that anyone could be tested for c***d19 and there is self testing available. For those thinking that would be a good idea here’s a tid bit from the FDA. I received this in my email at home. We can’t just go in and be tested any time we want here where I live. We have to be displaying symptoms of c***d, work in the medical field or getting ready to have a surgical procedure done. Things are different in different places.

Los of s**mmers getting into it. if you do a test at home kit, make sure it is from a "True" source. IMO anyway.

I’ve heard that too. Like things aren’t bad enough we have to have the buzzards swoop in for a buck.

Like my Dad told me when I was 18. "Not all Liars are Thieves, but all Thieves are Liars!"

I think they are requiring a lot more tests than are needed, such as if kids are exsposed they have to be tested before returning to school. The results is it is a lot harder for people who really are sick and need to be tested to find a tests and be treated. For me personally I see no reason to be tested if you do not have any symptoms or for that matter if you have only mild symptoms. If you have mild symptoms just stay home until you don't have them and if they start getting worse then go get tested and see your dr and follow your dr advice. Just like you would do for any other flu or illness. This would go a long ways to uncloging the Dr. offices, the urgent care facilities and testing stations. Only seek medical testing and care when needed not out of fear by possible or actual exposure.

What I’ve seen and heard from people I know in the medical field is that the numbers of positive cases have gone through the roof simply because the number of people being tested has gone through the roof as well. Many of those people with the slight to nearly no symptoms are so paranoid they go rushing right in to get tested at the their first opportunity. Many of those people never developed serious symptoms and require no medical attention but they are counted as “serious c***d19” cases. That, alone, has clogged up the system way more than unv******ted people filling the hospitals as reported in the news. Medical coverage is a huge determining factor as to who is admitted to a hospital and who isn’t in lots of cases. Either that or every medical professional I know, personally, has been lying to me. I tend to believe them over hearsay. I don’t know a lot about it. Just like most people that claim to. All I know is what I’m told by people I know who are in the medical field. I really don’t care much if someone I don’t even know or care about calls me a liar about this stuff because I believe them about as much as they believe me. Not at all. That’s just how it works. Where a person is has a lot to do with the hype and fear involved. Where I am there is no problems. I live here and see it. Where people are more paranoid and tend to believe the reports there is way more problems and way more people afraid they are going to die if they leave their home and get around anyone. My journey is not directed by me so I don’t meddle too much in what I’m supposed to do or not do. I just carry on in my life like I always have and do what I’ve always done. If I’m sick, which I haven’t been for many years, I stay home. If I know someone is sick I stay away from them. I’m not going to spread something I don’t have and I’m not going to catch something that someone else doesn’t have. Kinda common sense I’d say. 66 years of doing the same thing with good results tells me not to start doing things differently just because someone else says I should. What is rather confusing is we, supposedly, have the very best medical professionals in charge of this, they’ve done the same thing from day one and things are, constantly, getting worse. I’m sort of wondering why they haven’t changed their strategy a little. Just my opinion.
