Our personal favorite lures are the ones we use the most, thus they catch the most fish. And the ones we seldom use catch the fewest fish and become our least favorite lures.

I have had decent results with these multi-jointed lures ( Sebile) on smallies, walleye and pike.

Very good answer and so true, I have lures hardly catch any fish on but I don't use them much because after a short time go back to my try and true

Bought 1 for musky fishing. Looked good in the water but after about an hour of use the tail section broke about 3/4 of the way through. Don't recall the brand.

I suspect the same might happen if we get a big, toothy critter like a pike or musky to show up, but it will keep the Grandson busy for a while, anyway.

Yes and they work pretty good.

Yes, had a small perch lure and never caught a thing on it. On the other hand, I bought the Savage 6.5 mouse and had a lot of luck on that, it's segmented.
The minnows and perch lures I had I'm not sure, they looked good coming through the water but just never produced.

I have 5 of them. My plans are to use them by casting alongside the local kelp beds in SoCal.

I guess one thing I've learned over the years is presentation and retrieval. It most likely was me but I have a piles of "go to" lures I use that work well. These Kietech shad I've been using this fall and winter have done well, better than I expected. Can't wait until Spring.

I bought one single lure from Amazon with the thought that I would give it a try. I used the lure three or four times fishing for bass without any luck. I did catch a very nice Pike on the lure in Wisconsin. I used The lure just as it came out of the package. I did not like the lure enough to purchase additional lures of this type.

I got these at Ollie's. I haven't used the flex yet. Best thing about it it floats. I tested it in a small pond n the action is nice. The sebiles I used once. Only made a couple cast. They say fast sinking n they ain't kidding. Rocky bottom n shallow water I didn't want to lose it. Hope to get some use out of them this yr.

Larger eyes are on younger ( hear tender, tastier ) fish and make for a better presentation. All smolt have large eyes.
