Hello ghaynes. It's easy to tell your mental attitude has improved. I know you can overcome this thing. As I type this I'm setting in my truck at the Oklahoma cancer specialists institute in Tulsa. 10 years ago my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. She (we) were devastated. She contacted a woman Dr that her only practice was breast cancer. This Dr tried to assure my wife that with the right treatment she would live a long & healthy life. It really wasn't very assuring. She sent my wife to the cancer center for pre op treatment. A prescribed drug shrunk the cancer enough that a vasectomy was not necessary. That was a miracle & great news.. Surgery was a success. She underwent both chemo & radiation treatments. That was a rough time for her but she made it & is now cancer free for 10 years. Every year she returns to the Cancer center for blood work to make sure the devil has not returned. I know there are millions of both men & women that have beat the disease & i'm sure you will be a winner. Our prayers are with you.

Hey, that spell checker missed the mastectomy a mile. Hope she doesn't read where I said vasectomy. I'm old!

Thnx bottomcoon. My best to you and your wife. I had Stage 3 oral cancer about 15 years ago. Got lucky. A 9 1/2 hr surgery removed a cancerous bump on my tongue. I hate cancer. It's taken friends and relatives of mine. I'm glad you two still have each other. Keep on, keepin' on.

I'm glad you've turned a corner on this thing, Greg. Another corner or two, and you'll have it all in the rear view mirror. Any progress at all is a good thing, I'll cross my fingers that you don't run into any obstacles between here and the next step in your progress!

Good afternoon knuckleheads. Had my doc appointment early and then had breakfast out with wife. Many of you have been very supportive and wanted an update after I saw the doc.

First, I can pee and that's good. Second, I'm not emptying my bladder completely so I have to self-catheter twice a day. Easier than I thought but a nuisance. If my infection is gone, I may have surgery as soon as next week Tuesday. If not then, I'm hoping by Feb 1. Waiting on a call from doc's office on further details.

Thanks again clones. Go forth and 🐠🐟.
