Hey FG . That lake is in North Central California, near Napa Ca.

Hey Craig. Welcome to the stage. Hope you like it here as much as the rest of us do. I've trolled for rainbows this time of year there and they are usually pretty easy to catch trollin the top 5 to 10 feet of water. Trollin with worms, spoons and Rapala type of minnow lures are all productive.
Where do you live? If you could put it in your profile we'll all know and won't have to ask you ever time you post something Thanks brother. Good luck and post pics.

Is that the lake that has the “Glory Hole” spillway?
Also, how many natural lakes are there in California? I assume there are some up north.

As soon as I figure out how to post the pictures I will. I am from Vacaville and started fishing the lake and many others as as young lad some 55+ years ago.

Let me know how you do up there. I might have to take a run up there again sometime.

Don’t trust Hoover.
Been lurking around the website but had to jump in when Craig posted up. My son and him hammered some fish recently at Lake Berryessa. He is a fishing machine except when he is supposed to be working.

Well we fish hard and the payoff can be very good starting this time of year.
