It wasn’t that long ago I would be paddling out to my favorite spot on waters like this some early morning.

Visions in my mind, prayers in my words, and the silence of a calm river in my ears. Knowing only to well to have patience, I will get there.

Life not on the water is the same way. Patience is a must to really enjoy what we have.

I'm trying to do that but right now I'm being attacked from all quarters

Good mornin', plum. Looking at your picture reminds me of a fishing spot we had up in Canada, We called it the "Lone Pine Hole" It was an island, with a bunch of pines and one very tall pine similar to the one in the picture. Thank you, and have a good day.

Great thought Plum. Brought to mind a wreck I saw a couple days ago. A large tanker truck stopped at a red light ended up with 4 vehicles attached to his tail. Apparently 4 drivers wasn't practicing patience

When i saw that caption my mind went right to a location that was similar.

No mountains down there on the inner banks just tall pine trees for the landscape, but those still water mornings sent the thoughts curiosity to wonder what and where they are biting.

Every time I go fly fishing, the first thing I have to do is get rtd of everything in my head. Breathe deep and relax. Maybe, then you can float that perfect cast.

That Emerson guy had it figured out plum. Any special tips for patience, I could use right now dealing with SS. Amazing how many different answers you get from people working at the same place.

Good morning y’all. Very good post plumbob and so true. Fishing will test your patients but hunting demands it.

How fast can a tanker stop? think they were practicing their phones. Real problem these days. I pass 4 cars on the road, 3 have their phones either up to their ear or are looking down at it. I think GPS needs to be made safer in some way. Woman who hit Hutch on Harley said her GPS told her she missed her turn and needed to make the next turn so she just did it without looking. YIKES!

He was stopping for the red light Kandy. The intersection is light controlled n visible in all 4 directions for a long distance. You're right about phones n driving. Lives lost n untold damage. Gets worse every day 🥴
