Use to hunt there for the pheasant when link was still there sitting in the big recliner in the old clubhouse. He would ask us if we had dog to hunt with we said nope he tells us to wait till everybody went to their fields and give us one of the old dogs they would rent out to use. Mike did the same thing for us I guess they knew we did not look like we had a lot of money they were great people.

My brother trains hunting dogs 🐕 their and and also use to run the Duck club. ( Star Light kennels)
In the the mid 60's my buddies and I use to hunt the basin for ducks and geese and dove.I grew up in whitter.
Have killed deer 🦌 in the hills off 71 in the hills and in Carbon Canyon.
We where in Paradise there was nothing out there but Dairies out there. Whish it hadn't changed.
Had some great times out there with two of my buddies in High school .
We also had permission on alot of the Dairies to shoot pigeon by the pole barns they loved that one Dairy farmer bought us shotgun shells. We would shoot 100 to 200 pigeons in one day talk a fun wingshooting !!!
Good old days man do I miss them !!
