Hey Oj,
I purchased a similar product if not the same
Thing 20 years ago and tried it. They claimed it was the best trout deboner available. When I tried it, it turned the poor trout into mush as I was manuvering it through the instrument. Needless to say, it went back to the company for a refund. I found it much easier to fillet those babies.

Bummer, I hate wasting fish and game. Some of the reviews said similar, but most said chill the fish to firm them up.
This one may be off the market, and that may be a good thing!

Yes I remember the instructions saying to chill the fish prior to doing the procedure.
Like I said it didn't go well at all thus back to filleting.

I remember seeing an add for something like that a few years ago. It wasn't the one that link takes you to. The one I saw was in a magazine or a catalog and they claimed it would even get all the little tiny bones out of a trout which made me kind of skeptical. Since I rarely eat any of the fish I catch I saw no need to buy one.
