Because it is our 50th I upgraded the room and even went for the alcohol package, not that we need it. Hate thinking about money when I’m on vacation.

Very cool, enjoy yourselves. The bill for the alcohol at the end can be shocking. I write from experience…🤦🏼♂️

Congrats brother. What's the alcohol package?
It's when the steward asks if you have the American Express Black Card.... (no limit)
Not really the alcohol package. Cruise ship prices can be pricey.
Just a quick FYI...in case you had intended to upload more photos...they are not connected to your current post yet....

Well, I mean is the alcohol package where drinks are included in the price of your ticket or something?

So can the bar at the last Port of Call. We were with 2 other couples, watching about a dozen Ohio State Alumni whooping it up at Senor Frogs in Cozumel before boarding the ship. The wait staff was blowing whistles and pouring booze down their throats and they were having a blast…until the bill arrived. What they presumed were free drinks, cost them $800. It was hilarious…for us Badger fans, anyway.

I will explain the basics saw. If you go on a cruise ship without the drink pass drinks are 12-20 bucks EACH …. PLUS a 15% gratuity fee ( mandatory) so you can do the math.
If you get drink pass it is 16 or whatever drinks per pass and no extra fees for gratuity. We went on a Carnival Cruise several years ago. Drink pass was 50 bucks a day. So you will not get about 4 beers or other drinks for 50 but with it you can have 16…. Whatever you want. Beer is not 5 or 8 bucks… they are like 12 plus the 15%. Some cruise lines offer the drink pass as a free upgrade etc. the passes are usually not usable the first day/evening and last Evening/final day.
So I would get fosters lager in 25OZ cans the day before last day or if leaving ship for excursions etc or if couldn’t have any last day kept them in fridge then used backpack on shore and took off ship final day.
If you ordered mixed drinks or something in glass bottles they poured it in plastic cups for you. If I’m a can they would hand it to you sealed.

OH, I see. I understand now. As you can tell, I've never gone on a cruise before. Thanks bud.

We wanted to go in 20 but as you know something messed that up. After the first night our waiter had chilled fresh bottle of my favorite red wine every night. The food was over the top. Could order whatever you want and as many of whatever you want for dinner. Escargot was great. Turtle was really good. Flat iron steaks 🥩. Dinner was always super good. Then in room you get a paper to order your pre breakfast stuff at whatever time you want. I always had coffee and few things delivered early before getting ready to go to breakfast ( also super good) all food and drinks were beyond good on ship. Guy Fiero burgers were on ship pizza tacos Indian food fish seafood etc etc all day. At night pizza fresh made was available until like 1AM. Never had a bad moment on the cruise. Hot tubs and pools indoors and outdoors. Got to see how the other half live.
I highly recommend cruises. Majority of people onboard were very cool… not a bunch of snobs.

Not sure how to do it. Will do a new post. The internet is weird on the ship.

As Jeremy said 12-20 dollars per drink. Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) offered a drink package for 20 dollars a day per person. This includes everything including soft drinks and smoothies. It’s easy. You give them your card and they hand it back. You don’t even have to sign.
