Lost my rod & reel when my neighbor burned our hanger. I was using a light salmon pole and a Abu Garcia 6500 reel. Any recommendations?

If you provide your “budget” you will most likely receive some reasonable responses.

Guessing a decent reel will run me 75-100 dollars. Pole at least $100 or more.

Anyone have a used 5501C3 Abu Garcia left hand bait reel for sale?

Dakoda, are you stuck on a bait casting combo, or are you open to a spinning rod/reel combo? A Medium action 7’ St Croix Triumph spinning rod with a Pflueger President S35 reel on it will serve you well for walleyes and won’t break the bank at about $160 for the combo.

Do a fly in every year to Canada. Have been using a Lews spinning reel Orange with 8 lb fluro. Rod Dobyns colt series. 6'6" medium. Handles walleye well into the 20" plus range no problem, fast enough tip to be fun on smaller ones too.
Rod--$99.00
Reel--$79.00
