If you look at any other forums on the internet that aren't mostly populated with generally mature folks like us - - You'll see that our busty applicant spells about as well as the general population, and her grammar is above average!

I started first grade back in 1951, and they were teaching phonics. I'm not infallible, but I spell well enough.
My Wife started first grade a couple of years later, when the California school system had abandoned phonics and started a new system, I think they called it 'word recognition'. My Wife doesn't spell much better than the busty girl in the photo. Unfortunately for me, that's all she has in common with that girl.

Yeah, first grade for me, was the year after JFK was killed... I can remember the teacher saying: "Sound it out"; while teaching us spelling. I GUESS you can call that "Phonics"... I always figure, if we're NOT dealing with a "Legal Document" (of whatever sort), I'm gonna try NOT TO stress over it, too much.
