This was my third annual trip hiking into this high mountain lake, and my middle daughter Kelsey came along this time.
This is latest in the season I’ve been here, was a beautiful early fall day. 80s down in valleys, just nice and comfortable up here.
We found the fish hungry as usual and rising to hopper patterns. They were eating the flies with abandon! A bite or fish with almost every cast.
Highlight of the day was a visit by two black bear on the lakeshore.

Nice catching Bric and Kelsey! That's a beautiful lake Bric, and clear as well. Where are the Bears, on the opposite shore?
Thanks for the pictures.

Beautiful pics Bric, made some irreplaceable memories with your daughter. Noticed you were using spinning gear, we’re you fishing with a water weighted casting bubble?
