I fish rivers in Indiana and I mainly target smallmouth, walleye, crappie. The temperature has dropped and it feels like fall. Do you think that the fall walleye/crappie run has started yet? That’s pretty much my favorite kind of fishing but I haven’t really caught that much walleye, crappie this beginning of fall

I do 99% of my fishing in MN. It’s been my experience that it takes 2-4 hard frosts before the fish put the feed bag on.

60 degrees down to 50 and anywhere in between that's the water temps I'm fishing for those species in the fall even a tad warmer or a tad colder is not bad 55degrees I call in sick if that helps. I'm not far from you fishing the Ohio river and it's tribs.
