I was wondering if anyone has been seeing fish chasing shad since the water temp has cooled a little. It's about time for the fish to start moving a little shallower in the TWRA lakes

Been fishing Pickwick a couple times this past week….have seen Shad hitting the top of water, but think they are being chased by Gar…haven’t caught any bass, just Gar taps on swim baits and worms….the Bass should start to show up, the water temperature is back in the upper 70’s.

Hi,
I fish Dale Hollow Reservoir and have seen the bait balls in some areas. But September has been the worst month this summer for me. Out of my last six times out I have only caught 3 large mouths. I fish with crankbaits, jigs, spoons, top water...... I am still waiting on the fall bite to happen. Maybe once the water cools a little more?
Good luck!
