Is an improved clinch knot or triline knot bad? I can tie a palomar but I can tie a improved clinch knot and triline knot faster.

Both of those knots work well on mono, or fluoro, but the Palomar works better on braid.

I use trilene knot on everything. It tied for first place in "knot wars".

I use improved clinch for everything and have n ver had any major problems

Improved clinch mostly but not always.
