My friend and I are new to henry hagg lake and want to know where to start for trout; also, where is it best in Summer for bass.

Any and all tributaries of Columbia River for Sm Bass. In gorge there are many ponds basically on both sides ( north and south ) of Columbia River. There are culverts under roads and railways. The ponds and some are bigger have many types of fish. The water warms up quickly and lots of food for the fish. Water stays fresh enough for healthy fish and bugs.

Hagg is pretty obvious how to fish it. I would avoid weekends there. Just troll ford fenders and wedding rings.. worms.. shrimp or salmon eggs on the hooks. Change colors until get bit. For Trout
