I’m seeing info on the state parks website that says you need a tribal fishing license to fish some areas such as state parks on Flathead lake but no one goes further to say how or where you get one. And there is nothing in the Montana fish/game refs book that says anything about it. Any info????
This usually involves fishing on part of a reservation under native control. Since the area is local, just ask at the park you are in. They will know the procedure.

Go to Tribal website. Tribal lic issue to nontribal members is simple and easy. Further, MT publishes state map with reservation boundaries and tribal names. Okla Choctaw
