Looking to find good trout fishing lakes in western Washington it’s been years since the last time fishing and now retired time to get back out there!
Not that much activity on here for Washington fishing. Better bet is to search FB for groups featuring WA or PNW fishing. There are a few. If I were more talented I’d link them for you but the fun is n finding them just like finding fish.

Loved the stream fishing for trout. No boat made lakes a dream. Warning! If you do streams and drink the water from the stream, never work upstream.
Look at Fish Washington app, interactive map, rules for each body of water, have used it to find waters local guides never heard of. Look up Washington website also and lists stocking dates

Welcome charslastgirl. If you don’t mind driving a couple of hours there is a great place called Poohs pond a little west of Port Angeles. It’s a pay to play place on private property but open to the public for a price.
Owner’s name is Ken. Great guy with lots of good advice. It’s catch and release only so if you’re looking for a meal it’s not the right place. Stop at Waters West in Port Angeles for directions and what the fish are biting.
Beautiful scenery and there’s a pair of nesting bald eagles 🦅 that love to hit the water and show you how it’s done.
Thank you for the information I will look into that.

Been having good luck at Spanaway Lake and American Lake. Both are open year round. American holds some double digit trout, but they are deeper down.
