Hi, I’m originally from Oregon and fished for trout, steelhead, salmon, and sturgeon with the occasional bass thrown in. New to New Jersey. Went fishing at lakes around here with my father-in-law.

He passed away recently and we want to honor him by fishing on his birthday — July 4th.

We’re thinking of going to Manasquan Reservoir. Looking for any advice for a fun day.

Hello Guy any of the NJ lakes are good for fishing.. I live in Monroe/Jamesburg area. and Fish the local lakes. I always get the Trout stamp with my license. never know what you will catch. last year I inherited a Searay 260. its to big to launch by myself. from the Keyport ramp 12 Miles from me.. It has Not been in the water since I got it. Bummed... love saltwater Fishing BTW Keyport Pier is a good fishing spot. Not sure if you Hunt, But I am also a Licensed Falconer. maybe Next year Ill get a slip For the boat.I miss the real Fishing..

Welcome to the Stage. You're a little north of my area but I hope you get the boat in the water.
