my youngest boy & I got out sat morning only to get to lake & wind was howling,water level was down at least 3-4 ft.Got boat stuck a few times on stumps.
I said in an earlier post that crankbaits & jigs have never produced for me...ever
This lake will never be good for cranks but I figured the jig would be perfect so I got in main channel & I wasn't leaving till I hooked one.Tied on a jig,second cast a hit,4th cast I hooked a good one,he tailwalked & spit it back at me
Caught a few dinks,pickerel were hammering everything, think I went thru a 30 pak of yum dingers

Shohola is by far my favorite lake in our vicinity Al. Great for panfish of all types and also for bass. Glad you and your son got out together, and by the way Happy Father’s Day.
