Contact your Dept of Natural Resources or Fish & Game. They should be able to tell you. Good luck!

Might even try at your local Walmart or bait shop. If you try on line at the dept of natural resources you can print out a paper version of what they will mail you.

Morning Floyd. Us old farts over 65 in Alabama don’t need a license. You just need ID that shows your age and your Alabama residence address. I’m up in Guntersville. Maybe we can get together sometime and wet a line.

Here in Ohio you can go online with ODNR and buy them. Print it out. That's how I have done for the last couple years.

You don’t need a license as an AL resident since you are 65, but you will need to register to fish salt water in state waters. Also, any AL resident can fish with a cane pole at any age without a license.

I also live in Alabama and am over 65. Fishing license are not required for over 65 residents but you do have to register and carry the registration with you. This can be done on-line and then printed. Google Outdoor Alabama Fishing Regulations.

Not sure where you got that information about having to register. In my hand book it says you just have to have the proper identification to prove your age.
