Hello everybody! My name is Mark, I live in the Spokane Washington area. I have lived here most of my life and have been a fishing full since I was knee-high to a grasshopper! I'm 58 now! I have several spots that have been favorites of mine for years did I have always done well at! I mostly Bait fish for trout and if typically used marshmallows and worms or powerbait and done very well! For the last 3 or 4 years I've gone to my favorite fishing spots and I've gone to for years and use the same bait that I've been using for years and not had a whole lot of luck! I'm beginning to wonder if they're lying about putting fish in The Lakes these days! Anybody out there in this area have any insight? Thanks!
Hi Mark. I'm Gerry and I hail from Newman Lake, so we're practically neighbors (at least on this site, that draws fishers from all over). I've had success in several local lakes, mostly trolling from my 14' aluminum boat. I find it necessary to change it up at least occasionally, and will use a variety of baits and lures. I couldn't buy a bite last week on several different offerings, finally changed over to a black Rooster Tail and that was what they were looking for. So, there's fish out there, they're just getting a little pickier :>)
