Heading down to Florida in a few weeks, and want to get some fish down there on the fly. What kind of flies and weight rod would work well for them?

As I understand it Tilapia eat insects early morning and late afternoon. During the day they are vegetarian. I have witnessed this to some extent, seeing them eat water lettuce roots by day. The only one I ever caught on a fly was using a wooly bugger. The rest I've caught with bread balls on a hook. They fight well but wear out pretty quickly. I used a 6 weight rod because that's what I had. They are quite skittish so a gentle presentation is essential. (at least for the one's in my creek!)
