67* now, and 91* later, slight So. Wind, no rain. It has been hot and dry the whole month of June so far. The temp. has been over 100* every day this week, yesterday it was 101.7* I have been watering and weeding, watering and weeding. Today, I'm going to focus on the raspberry patch, I haven't done anything but water and fertilize them so far this year, and they do need weeding very badly. This is an open invitation to anyone who wants to come up and help.

Have a good one, boys and girls.

Wow Flyguy, your weather sucks. We’ve only seen 90 once so far but the humidity is something that is going to take getting used too. Thank goodness for AC.

Good Morning Boys and Girls. Road trip with the Juice today, heading up to Lancaster just to get out of the house.

Fg, i appreciate the invitation but weeding ranks right up there with painting.

Amen and amen. I dislike both but Lynny enjoys gardening and is really good at painting. I guess that’s what makes us a good team.

We haven’t hit but the low 90s, but with Lake Michigan next door it is miserably humid.

The humidity has only been around 50% here, but so very hot.

Good morning, Fly and Whitey and all. Beautiful day here, sunny, low 80s, low winds and humidity. Perfect for my Thursday hang with Liam. Been killin it at the pond, using weightless Texas rigged Senkos - thanks to you guys for the tip. I’m hoping the boy lands a few big ones. Wishing everyone a fine day and good luck out there. 😎

Good luck to you, Betts

Has it been hot over there too, OJ.

Not as hot as you have been. We hit 90+ once and upper 80s often, but the humidity is the problem here with Lake Michigan next door. The dry weather bonus is less mosquitoes, but we really need some rain.

Morning all! Flyguy a couple hours south of you and we haven't hit triple digits yet. Close, though. Had a popcorn rain hit us Tuesday, dropped about .2 inches on us, kept me out of the field but was back at it last night and FINALLY got all my crops planted. Better late than never, right? BTW, I will make someone a great deal on a 1994 worn out planter, mechanic's special. It is more tired than I am. Started planter shopping last night, found a 2008 like I want, and a "steal " at only $72,000!!! 😳😟🥺

Machinery, cattle, corn, lumber, where will it end. I could never be a farmer, My heart is not good enough to do it.

It was a 100.1 at noon today. Maybe my thermo. is high, it's less than two weeks old but that doesn't mean a thing. I have a cheapy hanging on the side of the garage, I'll have to compare the two. I think I have another cheapy around someplace, I will have to find it and hang that one up and compare the three. I did that with rain gages, and I found two that agreed, and I shi1 canned the other one.

Yes it does. And I just told the wife the other day…”I don’t paint”… the porch needs painting. I showed her where the paint and brushes were…🐟on

Guess I'm lucky there. Mine won'tet me paint anything inside the house. Outside I use an airless sprayer.
