Is fish finders good for structures? sorry never used a fish finder thanking about buying one
They aren't just good at, they're doing it fairly inexpensively now. The Garmin striker 5 and above models with a side image transducer start out near the $250 mark and give you a near photograph image of the bottom for reasonable depth waters, like 20-30 feet. Now I see they are going to have it available in the striker 4 which used to be around $100, but I'm sure that will increase some.
They work great on structure
I use both of mine more for studying a piece of structure than I do looking for fish.
