Lynny’s dad hit the beaches on Day. She went with him to see Private Ryan several years ago and said it’s the only time she saw him cry. Thanks and RIP Dad.

My dad went ashore then as a rifleman. He said scenes in that movie were very real. Especially the machine gun fire hitting the guys coming off the landing craft. Very moving.

Lynnys dad said the same thing. He was wounded and saw his buddy get blown up.
Many thanks to all the guys that had to go through that.
