Taking the family to Lake Greenwood, SC for a few days in a couple of weeks. Though I have fished many a bass tournament on this lake over the years, and even won a few, I have no idea on good places to fish for catfish. I have a 26 foot pontoon boat rigged for drifting for catfish, but no local knowledge on catfishin' this lake.

I ain't askin' for a map to your "Honey Hole", Just some info on areas where a family might catch enough to mak'em happy. I'm 70, and retired military. I just wan'na see'em grin.

Nick, If your going for channel cats go to wal mart and get some cat fish tube rigs. They have a yelliw sponge on a small treble hook. Try to find some sonnys blood stink bait. Fish in 5 to 10 ft. Hope this helps. Gordon

Nick, I lived on Lake Greenwood for 30 years. Catfishing is good around docks or in 3 to 8 foot of water around sundown and early evening. Bottom fishing will usually produce and make them smile. Good fishing friend.
