Any report on NE TN fishing? I've fished Ft. Loudon, Watts Bar, Douglas and the Lenoir City Park Marina with very little results.

Any suggestions on bait, time of day, etc. I fish off the shore. Thanks.

Hey buddy. Are there any bait stores in the area? That's usually a good place to get the latest info on what and where people are catchin and on what. Good luck to you both. Hope you find em on your next outing.

Hey bud. Yes, we get minnows and worms at 2 different bait shops and I've looked at a new rod and reel. We were told crappies were being taken at limits from the mgr of one shop. We were there the next day with the same bait. Nothing. Not a bite. A couple small bluegill when we switched to worms. We are bound to have a big day soon. Maybe with the guide. Pics will definitely be taken. Lol

I need to call the guide tomorrow. We had to reschedule due an outpatient surgery Bear had done. I'm hoping we can go soon. The weather here can get hot and humid quickly.

Hi Greg, a quick question, is your guided trip gonna be from a boat, or from the bank?

Definitely a boat. 4 hours, probably 7:30am to 11:30am. Guide says he can show us more spots on the lake to fish from the bank. We will probably troll for crappies but we have questions about fishing for bass and bluegill.

Sounds like a fun and educational trip. Bring a little pocket notepad and take notes, or record them on your phone. I for one, wouldn't remember much, accurately, anyway. I'd be having too much fun catching fish.LOL
I can't wait to hear and see the results of your trip.

Greg,
Are you trying minnows and worms below slip bobbers? If so, try different depths.

Just don’t drop the phone in the water. 😀
Good luck to you and bear.
