Used to fish off the big bend, Ecofina, Aucilla, etc. for specks, reds, the usual brackish water species. Lived here for 20 years never really did much fishing in Choctawhatchee Bay, seems a lot of water and very few boats.. no fish? Well.. I’m sure they are there. But where? Other than working the bank, searching endlessly for structure, bridges etc, which would take a decade... and dehooking 10 trillion sailcats, any hotspots y’all wanna share? I’ve heard Hogtown is great but I haven’t caught one thing except for the sailcats.. thanks and wet hooks

Welcome to the Stage Aitchenim.
I live next to the wacissa river-fish out of St Marks, you need to do the same things there as you did here. The oyster bars there are a lot like the sand/oyster bars here. The thing is if you had success here you will do well there, nice thing there is you don't have to worry as much about huge submerged rocks like we do here. Good luck!
Very true, lost/damaged several props! Hadn’t thought about that in a while, since we don’t have em. Nothin worse than running along and “bam”! Thanks
