Hi! My Daughter and family is moving to Otis Orchards and I will be visiting at the end of June. Are there any good fishing holes that anyone could suggest? And what kind of fish is out there?

Welcome to the Stage E. I got no idea. Is Otis Orchards near Yakima? That's kind of the heart of apple country isn't it? I've been up there a couple of times but certainly not familiar with it. Someone with knowledge will most likely show up.

GLA Loc: WA State

Lots of fishing in the general area. Liberty Lake, Newman Lake in Washington, both of which are a 10-15 minute drive. Lots of other lakes in the vicinity including Williams, Rock, Badger, Fishtrap, Jump Off Joe, Waitts, Long, Medical, West Medical, Clear, Silver, too many to mention. I think they boast 75 lakes within 50 miles. Most have trout and panfish. Also have the Spokane River which is known for its Redsides. Get the "Fish Washington" app for your phone and it'll give you up to date info on seasons, restrictions, etc. Welcome and Good Luck! The WDFW website has good info and lists individual lakes and what fish species they contain.
