Has anyone been catfishing on Smith Mountain Lake yet this year? Just wondering if the bite has started. Hoping to start chasing flatheads and channels soon.

Explain "Has the bite started?" Do you believe that the catfish in your lake go hungry all winter long? Those catfish eat regularly, they may have less appetite during cold weather, but they still feed. And they eat pretty much the same food all year long. Just Sayin...RJS
