Years ago i read about a lmb/smb hybrid. I think it was lab done, not natural. They called it a mean mouth bass, due to being very aggressive

Charlie N is right, in bass master magazine years ago an experiment was made in crossing the 2 fish. The results was that the hubred was so aggressive after all the testing that the program was halted and all the fish produced were destroyed. It was determined not to be a suitable fish to release in any water. I can't remember all the details, so I dont have anymore details. If any noe wants to look it up the article came out in the 80's or 90's. Shouldn't be to hard to find. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

If I remember the article correct they bit a dog and chased some swimmers
It would be great if they could cross Smallies with something that had a fast growth rate, Smallies don't set records in the growing department in most waters .
