It has been 50 years since I fished Cisco chain of lakes or Thousand Island Lakes. We are going up there in August for a week to see if it’s any good for bass and panfish?? Can anyone help and Older Michigander about advise on how to fish the lakes? Living in Tennessee now. Thanks.

Welcome aboard cougar. Bunch of good guys up that way that should be able to help you out.
I do a lot of fishing not far from there. Those look like awesome lakes and I am sure they hold lots of panfish, bass, probably walleyes, northern pike and perhaps some muskies, too. The fish may be suspended, but they can be caught. Do you have a boat, or will you rent one?
If you decide on the thousand islands area, theres so much to find as far as fishing goes. Still considered to be one of the country's best smallmouth fishery, let alone musky , pike and walleyes.Lots of places and folks around to put you in the best spots for the time of year/seaon of fish leal to caatch. Good luck there.
