ocracoke surf fishing

my kids are taking me surf fishing on ocracoke island for my 60th birthdayweek of the 19th to 23rd we have 4x4 is there any preferred spots we should hit any info would b appreciated

Hi T4. I've fished spots from corolla to Hatteras point. I never got over to ocraoke. I'm sure someone there will help you out. Good luck. 👍👍

South point first thing in the mirnjng. Throw metal for possibke Spanish mackerel ,maybe bluefish. Ramp 70, aka airport ramp. Hole usually sets up just a little south of the ramp. Ramp 63(?) Usually a good hole about quarter mile north. North ramp at the ferry dock, run straight out usually a good spot for reds. Run about a half mile south there's a couple points and some good holes. Good info Fly. If i ever go back to OB I'll try ocracoke. I had plans to take ferry there one time. Big storm came in. I stayed where i was.👍👍

Good move. Friend of mine git stuck out there for five days when he missed the last ferry by minutes. I got off. Stashed my gear in the truck and dashed. Aired up on the ferry deck.
