Lake Gregory Fishing Tips PLEASE

Hello, my family and I are going to Lake Arrowhead this weekend. We are going fishing at Lake Gregory. They stocked the lake with Rainbow trout. What tips can you give me? Best bait to use? Best location to fish from the shore? Thank you!

Welcome to the stage Hodges I am personally from Orange County but now I live up on the Central Coast of California been years since I've been to Gregory but we always had a good time and caught fish best bet would be any of your power baits micetails work well and inflated nightcrawlers if you have a way to inflate them don't remember how good the shore access was at Gregory it's been years good luck to you and your family have a great time

Also if by chance you decide to fish Big Bear Lake while in the area we always did very well on the first point on the fawnskin side closest to the dam same baits are effective

I also grew up in Orange county. Now live in north Central California.
Use the baits that Lil All
Suggested and get there as early as you can it will get crowded!! Fish on the side of the road where it turns or bends that use to be my hot 🔥 spot!! Use a 18 or20 inch leader 2lb test. With a sliding egg weight.
There are also German Brown Trout in the lake.
