Hello Wickedlady and welcome to the stage sorry I have not fished that lake other will be along. Ben Bragg lives over that way but I'm not sure if he fishes action lake 🤔

Ben is fishing the Detroit River right now or he is waiting in line to dock his boat.

Haven’t fished Acton since last spring (mid April )
Great shallow pre spawn crappie bite first weekend. Csiught em on white jigs Lots of nice fish .easy limit
Following weekend major cold front blew thru. Fish backed off the shallows Found fish 100 yards off shore deep. Caught em on drop shot : live minnows . didn’t get limit but a bunch of nice ones.
Following weekend big rain. Water looked like chocolate milk. Found fish on depth finder deep but couldn’t force a bite
I would imagine it would be tough right now with all the rain and cold front.
You will see boats clustered around where fish are
