I guess it depends on where you're looking from. I live on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. So from here, it seems like the North Pacific (and Straits of Juan de Fuca/Puget Sound). But many of my Canadian friends refer to this area as the South Pacific. Either way, I love it here, there is so much to see and do if you like the outdoors, i.e. winter black mouth (immature Chinook salmon) fishing with the snow piling up on the bow of your boat, to halibut/Lingcod, crab, shrimp, and so much more.
My greatest challenge is getting the old guys I go out with healthy and free their schedules enough to go out since I need someone to pull my boat. My truck went belly up several years ago, and I haven't been able to replace as yet. So if you have such a vehicle and need a boat to get out on, message me and we'll see if we can work something out!
Sincerely,
