Anybody know where speckled trout are biting around eastern nc?
Don48: well, partner, fish feed regulary. You find them and sooner or later every day, they will feed, and probabyly do so randomly if given rhe opportunity. Trout are a schooling fish so if you can find a school of shrimp, you will more than likely find specs. Who knows you might even find reds down below the specs picking off wounded shrimp and bits and pieces! Also, if you have a boat, keep a sharp eye out for white flases at a distrance, thart will be gulls diving on shrimp that have been forced to the surface by specks. You might outh to take a pair of binoloculars. Always approach from the up wind side, kill your motor and drift into casting range. Justr Sayin...RJS
