Hi, there all you "fellow" fishing and nature lovers! It's been years since my last fishing trip. Gettin' old- er and creaky- er. But still have many fond memories. I joined this site because of the state of things on our planet we just don't know when fishing may be our only or one of our few sources of food. A very good source of protein. And a time of peace with nature. My favorite place to fish was the South fork of the Stanislaus River in the High Sierra's way above Sonora, CA. We used to go thru there and past Mi-Wok to get to our favorite camp site near our favorite fishing holes. I really miss the mountains. And fishing. My Dad used to take me deep sea fishing with him from when I was 9 years old to 14 years old. I can tell stories of the open seas before pollution. It was so beautiful!!
