Used to put O rings on plastic worms to fish wacky style.
Beach carts are a big help to get gear across the sand.

I'm managed to "solve for": ¡BEACH CART!; but, I've been ignorant of the existence of such a device as that "O-Ring Applicator"... Looks like a good idea, if that is, indeed what it is. If it ain't, it seems like it'd sure be a help with the O-Rings, of a "certain size"!!

That's exactly what it looks like. Never used one, but I've seen them in stores.

Run the O ring to the big end of the tube. Insert worm halfway into tube and roll O ring off. Put hook under O ring.

¿Why not just use a small "rubber-band" (An "elastic" to you New Englanders)

I you want to make your own, use an empty Sharpie with a screw in the end to hold the O rings.
I also read about a tip to present your wacky hook perpendicular to the worm by adding a second O ring and crossing one over the other, put your hook under the X and your good to go, without tearing up your worm on each fish. I wish I had saved those darn rubber bands from when I had braces on my teeth almost 50 years ago...they were just about the right size!

That second O-Ring sounds like a GOOD idea... I've found a baggo über small rubber-bands at Staples, a while back. (Might have been a "mixed bag", wherein there was some VERY small ones.) {Not quite the same as what the Orthodontist "gives ya"; but, still workable, I'd think.}

There have been some improvements made for wacky rigging of late. One is a newly designed O-ring from Mustad, which I'm going to try this season.

Morning, right back atchya, Lee! I've been jumping through firey hoops/ "milking" my one steam radiator and going to a store or 2... Still gotta get to at least 1 more store, prolly 2, later. (Thanks be to GOD and the U.S.T., that I've got a wee bit of what THEY want, at the store!)

Yeah Able, you put the hook through those and its perpendicular to the worm 100% of the time. We'll see if they are strong enough not to tear if a fish grabs the end of the worm, and runs with it. I'll report back after I get to give them a good test this summer.

Yeah, I'd be interested in buying a bag of 'em, if they're durable enough. "TUFF-E-NUFF." (Sounds like a good name, for a "new product", ¿Don't it?)

I ain't a bass fisher, and so am ignorant in the ways of wacky. Can't you just put the hook thru the worm?
