Not fished for many years

Am 82 and just getting back to scratch the itch to fish.....loved bass fishing and look forward to holding a tight line on a nice fish soon. Live in Central Florida and wife also loves to fish. Prefer fresh water or Gulf Coast activity. No boat so am somewhat shorebound.

Had to raise a family....put kids thru college....had several businesses all at once and a wife got sick with cancer.....still have some rods....reels....and an old tackle box with some stuff about 50 yrs old. Am sure a story familiar to many.....

Welcome Ozzie. You got a few years on me but I understand how life gets in the way of fishing. It's been about 40 years for me since I've fished seriously. I'm 66. Just getting back to it this year. I've got very modest fishing gear but it's new. Enjoy fishing when you can and enjoy the FS knuckleheads.
