Last Monday we listed our house here in Sequim and on Tuesday we had 3 offers. We took the cash offer over asking.
Today our realtor in Alabama sent us a listing and we looked it over. It’s in Guntersville and only 1 mile from the lake. Really quite neighborhood but close to everything. She said she would drive over and do a FaceTime walk through. Our daughter and SIL met her there and went through with her. They loved the house and the neighborhood and so did we so we made an offer. There were 2 other showing today so we had to wait but tonight she called and said it is ours. We can’t wait to get out there and get set up. I have enough left over for a fishing boat. 😀😀😀

Congratulations, Fish!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a place I could call home. Keep us posted on everything.

Looks beautiful Dancer. My daughter has had a similar experience this past week. Three days she had 23 showings. Last heard she had three offers, but more were expected in. She already has her other house though..

Thanks spirit. If you ever get down that way we’ll go fishing. Might not be a trout but we’ll catch something. I’m glad you don’t stink as much now. Lol

Thanks Troy. It’s a lot of space for just the two of us. We’re going from 960 square feet to 1660. Probably get lost for a little while. Lol. Yep, looking forward to having a bbq in the back yard. Big deck will be able to hold all the new friends we’re going to make there. Can’t wait, we’re really excited.

Really quick!! Our heads are still spinning.
Lynny is so excited she couldn’t sleep last night. She was up all night drawing out the floor plan based on what we saw when our realtor did the FaceTime walk through. It’s a great floor plan. Split design with the master on one side. We each have are own closet and sink. Doesn’t get much better than that. Of course you know who gets the big closet and vanity. 😂

That’s great news for your daughter. Tell her to ask them all for a best and final offer and she will probably get a bidding war going. Unless she is happy with the offers she has.
We thought we were going to have to fly out and drive all over the country to find the right place. Couldn’t believe we found it the way we did. We just found out that our new neighborhood is one of the most sought after in town. We are truly blessed.
