You're looking at South Padre Island Jetties 10:00 AM local time (download file).
Only way I know how to do this is to do screenshot, copy and paste in word format. There's probably a better way, I'm just not aware of it other than going there and taking a picture. Too comfortable with coffee and home made cinnamon bun.
The fore ground is Isla Blanca. Popular spot for families and surfers. The surfers respect the fishermen and all is well. The far jetties is Boca Chica. Space X is just 4 mi down the beach.
The jetties are very popular fishing spots as you can see from the 35 or so fishermen. Today according to
"tides4fishing" is a low to average fishing day. Seems no one told the folks on the jetties.
Goes to show you, a good day to go fishing is when you go fishing!
Unfortunately I can't do jetties. Don't want to wind up on the 6 o'clock news.
You can expect to catch: black drum, trout and snook. Red drums are slow.
