Looking to get a new baitcaster. Budget around $250 what do you all recommend? Curado DC, Diawa Tatula SV or something else?

That’s easy.
Curado DC all day. Great reel.
I’m seriously considering it and I don’t even need a reel

Update. I just pulled the trigger.
I had some Amazon points and used them.
Got a Curado DC 151 . Will replace a Lews super duty. Moving my Tranx 200 to a 7-4 heavy mojo and putting the Curado on my 7-4 heavy St Croix Avid X
Will be used for deep cranking
Thanks for getting me off the fence.

I have a Curado K and it's amazing. If the DC is close to the K then it's a go! I've been looking at them but the DC isn't worth the extra 60 bucks imo. I'd save some money.

I just bought two Curado DC through madepon.com for $75.99 each. Overseas firm, but guaranteed to be the manufacturer's reel, not a knockoff. Haven't received them yet, but will update this posting if it is not the real (reel?) thing.

Wow. That’s cheaper than the sales tax. Please let us know even if it is bad news. Hoping to hear good news.
