DFW ponds and this insane freeze we just had question...

For you that have seen it before, will this freeze kill off many bass in the ponds around me? How significant will it impact the bass, if you had to guess. This is the first time that I can remember these ponds being froze over completely.

No one knows for sure. if the pond is reasonably shallow, the freeze could kill all the bass. Just Sayin...RJS

Not sure how bass differ in Texas from Ohio. But we freeze over most years for weeks at a time and there are plenty of farm ponds around with bass in them. I just haven't figured out how to catch them yet. Caught 3 small ones but my daughter insists that one was a re catch.
