When I was young there were a bunch of children's storybooks called Little Golden Books. They cost in the vicinity of 59 cants each. Not too long ago I saw a shelf full of them in an antique store for $3.00 each, which brings me to today's thought: YOU'RE NOT GETTING OLDER, YOU'RE INCREASING IN VALUE.....šš

I like the idea but Iām afraid the dents, scratches and general wear and tear have led to a definite decrease in value on my side.š

The signs of a warrior. Badges of honor and experience. I had oral cancer. Never smoked or chewed. I have a scar from under my chin to under my right ear on my neck. 32 lymph nodes removed. At first it really bothered me. I bought turtlenecks to hide it. Now, 14 years later, it's a badge of courage and survival. I tell people I got it in knife fight. You should see the other guy. Lol.

I think as we age we gain more knowledge and experience, we have learned from our mistakes and we can teach the younger generation how to do things the right way, so yes that makes us valuable.

As much as you can give the advice they have to want to use it, not just say " OK "

Your right, the problem is they think they know everything
Appreciation ? Depreciation ? I'd guess that it depends on how
you center the balance bar - seems like at 50, you're still appreciating, at 60 it's a
stand-off, and at about 70, depreciation takes over for
good !
(Wear-and-tear/aches and pains just overtake/over-whelm any further appreciation !)
