Good question ! I don't remember him swimming, either ! Maybe the bionics could short-circuit or weigh him down ? Just wonderin' !

According to what I read, he had special "attachments" and in one episode he had webbed feet for "swimming underwater". Like a freakin Kitchen Aid mixer. Wonder what Jaimie Sommers thought of that?

Well the eye doc told me today that my MRI showed no optic nerve damage - yea! Wants to do a new procedure for my glaucoma. He’s getting the new equipment in in a few days to do the procedure. It stretches the drain in the eye before they insert the stint. I came home and researched it!!! Sure don’t want to screw up my eye. Everything I could find was about 99% positive. I told him I would be investigating the procedure and he thought that was great. He is one of the top eye surgeons in the Intermountain area. He will do the cataract at the same time. About a four hour procedure for doing both. YeeHaw.
Get the knee scoped next Thursday.
Yup getting older is sooo much fun.

Getting Old, Is Not For Sissy’s! Good luck on the procedure Hunt, take the time to heal up & you’ll be back out there in no time.

Well phase one is now done. Knee surgery was finished with a scope. Torn meniscus - had the torn flap lodged under the meniscus. Doc said if we would have done the surgery last fall you would not have had near as much pain. Told him the surgery could wait but I didn’t want to miss any of the hunts LOL. He said he also fixed the three frayed areas he found on the ACL - and a tear of a tendon he found on the x-ray - only a ‘slight extra charge’. He has a great sense of humor. I asked him if it was a new Mercedes or a Ferrari this time. He told me to just watch out the window LOL!

Will do. He told us this new device goes in and stretches the drain before they insert the stint. Says it has been extremely effective in keeping the pressure down. I guess they share this equipment with others in the inter mountain area so he only gets it one day a month - his day is the 16th in March so will see after that. The drops have stabilized both my eyes for the last month. Wish drops would help you

Well day two after surgery and I am limping about without much pain except where the tourniquet was. Removed the bandages, took shower and iced it down. Feels great. Anybody up for a foot race? Well maybe not for a few days LOL! Hope you all are doing great and will keep this updated.
